Joe Scala is Director of the Private Debt group for Invesco’s Global Private Credit platform. In this role, he is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing direct lending investment opportunities.

Mr. Scala joined Invesco in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, he was a vice president at Blue Torch Capital, a middle-market private credit firm focused on opportunistic lending, where he was responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including originating, underwriting, and portfolio management. Before that, Mr. Scala was a vice president at Garrison Investment Group, where he was responsible for all aspects of the investment process, focused primarily on sponsor-backed middle-market lending opportunities. Prior to that, he was an associate at LStar Capital, an affiliate of Lone Star Funds, providing flexible capital solutions. Mr. Scala began his career as an analyst at Crestline Investors in their opportunistic strategies group in 2012.

Mr. Scala earned a BA degree in economics from Amherst College and an MBA from Seton Hall University.
