Profile

JT is responsible for representing Invesco Global Consulting’s (IGC) coaching and consulting platform to financial professionals and their teams across the central and southwest states. His background and consulting focus is on team dynamics and leadership, practice management, systems and processes, team communication, and understanding behavioral dynamics within teams.

JT has worked within the Financial industry since 1981. He joined Invesco when the firm combined with OppenheimerFunds in 2019. Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds in 2014, he helped found Team Performance Group LLC, where he was a managing partner and registered corporate coach. JT began his career as an investment consultant with a small RIA firm before being recruited to EF Hutton in 1983. From 1991 to 1995, he attended Shearson’s leadership training program in New York City, eventually managing Shearson’s Advisor Training and Development department, where JT and his team were responsible for the training and development of roughly 2,000 financial professionals each year. In 1995, he was promoted to branch manager for Smith Barney in Peoria, Arizona. In 1997, he accepted further leadership roles in the Seattle/Bellevue, Washington marketplace for Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. Since 2010, JT has primarily consulted with and coached team leaders toward better defining their practices, leading their teams, and creating value through building unique wealth management platforms. JT graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with an interdisciplinary degree in organizational leadership and English. He holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations.

JT and his wife live in Kaysville, Utah along the foothills of the Wasatch mountains. They are the parents of five children and count their grandchildren as their greatest blessings.
