Sir Clive Woodward, born in Ely, Cambridgeshire, is a celebrated rugby coach and former player.

He earned 21 caps for England as a centre and played for several clubs including Leicester Tigers. As head coach of the England rugby team from 1997 to 2004, Woodward led them to their first Rugby World Cup victory in 2003.

Knighted in 2004 for his contributions to rugby, he has also worked in football management and as a business consultant and motivational speaker. Woodward is renowned for his innovative coaching methods and leadership excellence.
