Chin Ping Chia joined Invesco in 2019 and is Head of Business Strategy and Development, China-A Investments. He is responsible for Invesco’s China A-shares product suites globally, including fundamental, quantitative, smart-beta, and ETF strategies.

Mr. Chia has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Invesco, he was managing director, head of research, APAC at MSCI, where he oversaw the firm’s index, analytics, and ESG research and key client engagement activities. At MSCI, he collaborated with institutional investors on a wide range on investment topics including factor and ESG investing.

As the author of numerous research papers on China-A shares, Mr. Chia was a key architect behind the inclusion of China-A shares in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. He was an advisory board member of the Quantitative Finance Program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Chia graduated with a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder.
