Benjamin Jones is Global Head of Research in the Strategy & Insights team at Invesco. A role, that allows him to indulge his curiosity for markets, history, geopolitics, and much more besides. Benjamin leads a team of diverse thinkers, who aim to support Invesco’s clients and investment teams in making the best investment decisions possible. His team produces research content and insight to a broad spectrum of investors across the globe covering both public and private markets.

Benjamin joined Invesco in October 2021 to lead the Multi Asset team research efforts and worked closely with the multi asset fund managers to set the core macro and markets views across the multi asset fund range. He moved to the role of Global Head of Research in October 2025.

Prior to joining Invesco Benjamin spent 15 years with State Street Global Markets, first as an Equity Strategist and later as a Multi Asset Strategist. He worked closely with academic partners to develop applications for a wide range of proprietary market indicators and led SSGM’s Asset Allocation product.

Benjamin is a CFA Charterholder, holds a master’s in finance degree from London Business School, and holds a holds a first-class BSc degree in Economics from the University of Surrey.

He is a frequent commentator in the financial press.
