As Head of Legal & Company Secretary, Nick Burrell is responsible for the legal and secretariat function at Invesco Australia. Nick is also a member of Invesco Australia’s Executive Committee and Chair of the Risk Management Committee.

Nick has practised as a lawyer for more than 17 years. Prior to joining Invesco in 2011, he trained and worked in private practice in the corporate department of Maddocks and then worked in-house for seven years with Goodman Group - a global property fund manager listed on the ASX. Nick’s experience with Goodman Group included working on corporate transactions, fund establishments and capital raisings across the Asia-Pacific region.

Nick holds degrees in law and commerce (Deakin University), a Master of Applied Finance (FINSIA) and holds the Chartered Secretary designation (Governance Institute of Australia).
