Andy Blocker is Global Head of Public Policy and Strategic Partnerships at Invesco. In this role, he works across Invesco's three regions—the Americas, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), and Asia Pacific—to bring global strategic leadership and alignment to Invesco's public policy terms around the globe to provide timely insight to clients and portfolio managers.
Andy drives Invesco's legislative and regulatory advocacy initiatives in Washington. He engages with clients and opinion leaders on public policy developments and seeks to maximize Invesco's reputation and influence among key policymakers and stakeholders. His team authors the Washington Newsletter, an in-depth analysis of key political and policy issues. Andy joined Invesco in 2018.
Chief Global Market Strategist, Invesco
Kristina Hooper is the Chief Global Market Strategist at Invesco. She entered the financial industry in 1995. Prior to joining Invesco, Ms. Hooper was the US investment strategist at Allianz Global Investors. Prior to Allianz, she held positions at PIMCO Funds, UBS (formerly PaineWebber) and MetLife. She has regularly been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Reuters and other financial news publications. She was featured on the cover of the January 2015 issue of Kiplinger's magazine, and has appeared regularly on CNBC and Reuters TV.
Ms. Hooper earned a BA degree, cum laude, from Wellesley College; a JD from Pace University School of Law, where she was a Trustees' Merit Scholar; an MBA in finance from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where she was a teaching fellow in macroeconomics and organisational behaviour; and a master's degree from the Cornell university School of Industrial and Labor Relations, where she focused on labour economics.
Ms. Hooper holds the Certified Financial Planer™, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst(CAIA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)® and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)® designations. She serves on the boards of trustees of the Foundation for Financial Planning, which is the pro bono arm of the financial planning industry, and Hour Children.

Rick Dearborn is currently a partner at Mindset, a corporate advisory and advocacy consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Rick has special expertise in the energy, trade, agriculture, defense, healthcare, and telecom sectors.
For the past thirty years Rick has served two U.S. Presidents, six U.S. Senators, a premier think tank and a major trade association on Capitol Hill.
From January of 2017 until mid-March of 2018, Mr. Dearborn served The President of the United States as his Deputy Chief of Staff. Mr. Dearborn was responsible for the day-to-day operations of 100 staff in five separate Executive Office of the President departments.
Three days after the 2016 election, President-Elect Trump tapped Vice President-elect Mike Pence to serve as Chairman of the Presidental Transition Team and asked Mr. Dearborn to serve as the Executive Director, Daily responsibility included the direction and management of the core components of the Transition Team's 600+ members.
Prior to this, Mr. Dearborn had served for twelve years from 2005 until 2017 as Chief of Staff to then U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions.
He served Senator Sessions for a total of eighteen and a half years having been originally hired as the Senator's Legislative Director in 1997.
In 2003, between serving as Senator Session's Legislative Director and Chief of Staff, Mr. Dearborn was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to become the Assistant Secretary of Energy for Congressional Affairs, where he worked with the Senate, House and Tribal Governments on the President's Energy agenda.
Prior employment has included working at the National Republican Senatorial Committee for Sens. Ruby Boschwitz and Don Nickles, The Heritage Foundation, where he was Director of Association. He has served in Senate Leadership Offices as well, for Senators Trent Lott and Bob Kasten on the Senate Republican Conference, and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison as Executive Director of the Senate Steering Committee.
Rick graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1988.
