Our ESG capabilities
At Invesco, we have been implementing ESG strategies for over 30 years. Each of our investment centers has a unique approach defined in their investment process as well as the respective asset class. We offer a variety of ESG implementation techniques which reflect clients’ diverse needs.

Invesco ESGintel: Our proprietary ESG rating system
ESGIntel provides our investment teams with ESG data points and insights over 16,000 companies. Combining our own analysis with different external sources, the tool provides richer insights than simply taking the view of a single external provider and supports our aim of full ESG integration across all investment strategies.

Invesco is involved with various industry organizations supporting important ESG topics.
Invesco’s partnerships include:
1) Signatories to global and Asia initiatives including:
Global:
- UN PRI: Promote responsible investment principles as a signatory since 2013 and participate in multiple working groups
- TCFD (Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosures): Support TCFD and disclose to stakeholders on our climate-related financial risks in our annual TCFD Report
Asia:
- HKGFA (Hong Kong Green Finance Association): Collaborate as part of various industry working groups, focused on facilitating green finance and sustainable investments in Hong Kong and China. Co-lead on Common Ground Taxonomy Working Group and also lecturer for HKGFA-HKUST’s Sustainable Finance Programme
- AIGCC (Asia Investor Group on Climate Change): Collaborate as part of various working groups relating to corporate engagement and climate transition. Invesco’s capabilities featured as case study in AIGCC’s Net Zero in Asia report
2) Supporting on industry developments of ESG investing including:
- CSRC (China Securities Regulatory Commission) International Advisory Council
- AMAC (Asset Management Association of China) Green & Sustainable Investment Committee
3) Special Partnerships on proprietary ESG research including:
- Tsinghua University: Research partnership focused on China’s climate transition of high emitting sectors; including proprietary research on emissions estimation and green revenue analysis
- FAIRR (Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return) Initiative: Research partnership on investment opportunities in agrifood space
